Only white stools one episode does not cause an alarm. If this continues 2..3 days and the colour is really unusual and stays the same for 2..3 days then you can visit your doctor. In my opinion there is no immediate need.

Here you have to keep a close look at colour of your urine, skin and sclera. In jaundice there can be pale looking stools. If you find jaundice developing then immediately viait your doctor.

I would suggest you to wait for next 2..3 stools and see how things go.
