![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: My period was on 16th July.we had sex on 25th July and had ipill on 26th July and today on 10th august i am having light bleeding what is this?
Brief Answer:
likely withdrawal bleed.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
thanks for the query to hcm,
This can be a withdrawal bleed following ipill intake on 26th july but generally the withdrawal bleed starts within 7 days of ipill intake. I suggest that you should take a serum beta hcg test just to rule out any conception due to failure of ipill. If the test is negative, then you are pregnancy safe and the bleed is withdrawal and not an implantation bleed which could be another probable diagnosis.

it mean i am getting my normal period
Brief Answer:
Withdrawal bleeding
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
The withdrawal bleeding is actually the same as menses after the pill intake. Both involves the shedding of endometrium, one has it done naturally and the other through the pill .
So if there has been a bleed now, then you should take this as your fresh LMP, and take it as your menses hence.
