What Causes Yellow Fluid Drainage From Nostril After Treating Strep Throat And URTI?

Question: Hi,
I would love any advice here. I have just gotten over both an upper respiratory and sinus infection. I just finished a course of azrythromycin for the upper respiratory infection/sinus. About a month ago I also was diagnosed with strep throat and was given a ten day course of amoxicillin. I have been resting for a few days after finishing the azrythromycin and haven't had congestion now for about 3-4 days. I bent down today to tie my hair up and clear yellow fluid drained from my right nostril. I dont have any other symptoms at this point other than lethargy and I am hoping this fluid is just the infection draining from my nose since I was upside down. But I am worried that after reading about others problems that this could be CSF and I should go to the emergency. Ive been in and out of doctors for these infections and the last thing I want to do is wait hours at the emergency if this is simply from my past sinus infections. The small amount of liquid only drains when I bend over and the fluid is a pretty bright yellow (It is not completely clear). I also have tasted it (Im sorry I read to do this) and it seems salty not sweet (like glucose). Any advice would be greatly appreciated. My doctor is supposed to contact me on monday but of corse its saturday afternoon and the only available doctors to see are the emergency or long hours at a walk in. Thank you in advance for your time.
Hi, I have attached a picture of the liquid on a tissue paper. Thank you!

Dear Ms
First and foremost let me reassure you there is no cause for concern. The yellow liquid is definitely purulent infected discharge from the sinuses. Its is unlikely to be cerebrospinal fluid(CSF). Thanks for providing clinical picture, it really helps. It further substantiates that its purulent sinus contents.
I would also suggest you steam inhalation 15 minutes each session thrice a day, it will help in adequate drainage of sinus contents.
Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.
