What Causes Yellow Mucous In Stool?
Stool R/E and ova/ parasite
Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome
I appreciate your concern
Based on your description, the stool changes can indicate a number of conditions including parasitic infestation, bacterial overgrowth, lower or upper GI bleed (if black/dark stool). The next appropriate step would be to get a stool for ova and parasite and routine exam done. Ultrasound abdomen/pelvis and a digital rectal exam may also be advised , in consultation with your doctor. Based on the findings of the stool test further workup or treatment can be advised. Since its been six months, one cant treat or diagnose alone on the basis of stool inconsistency patterns.
Wishing you best of health
Thanks
