What Causes Yellow Skin Discoloration After Radioactive Iodine Treatment For Hyperthyroidism?
Question: I had Radioactive Iodine treatment for Hyperthyroid and now appear to have a yellow tinge to my very fair skin. Is that a result of the XXXXXXX treatment?

If it was more than 6 weeks ago, there is a fair chance that you have developed hypothyroidism. This can cause the yellow tnge to your skin. It is worth checking a TSH and Free T4.
