Brief Answer:
Increase your water intake

Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
Yes dear one litre is very less amount of water for any adult and post gastric bypass you need to increase water intake even more because there is increased water loss due to smaller transit time in initial months.
Eventually your body will adapt to it but still at least 2 litres of water a day is must and right now it should be between 2-3 litres.
Also take some fruit juices daily especially cranberry juice which will have very good effect on urinary system health.
Take care

Brief Answer:
Take whole fruits instead

Detailed Answer:
Then you can take whole citrus fruits and guava as much as possible at least 2-3 in number daily.
These will help in maintaining acidic nature of urine and help you really well in coping with excess fluid demand of your body.
Take care

Brief Answer:
safely taken

Detailed Answer:
Yes atarax will help in relieving itching and give you a good sleep too.
Fruits can be taken after 4 weeks of surgery and are safe but still you can discuss with your operating surgeon who definitely will explain you other do's and don'ts.
You are welcome anytime and in case you have any questions in future you can contact me directly on XXXX
