
What Complications Would Arise Due To Lack Of Periods Except Of Slight Bleeding After A D And C Procedure?

Question: Dear doctor,
I am ms XXXX, 49 years old
as per last discussion about irregular periods, doctor has consultwd me to do sonography.
I am uploading the repoets about it to you+
6 months ago I had done d&c test and uploaded my sonography and d&c report to healthcare magic.
pll. examine reports and give yr opinion
I have uploaded the reports. serislly uppear 3 rports are of usg pelvis done on 28/4/18. while last 3 reports are of previous usg whole abdomen done on 5/9/18.
I was experiencing irregularity in periods,in aug and sept I had very heavy periods.d&c test was also done,uploading that report also,
pl go through the same.I did not have period till 12 march,on 13 I had a little bleeding,
what complications would arise due to this and what should be the treatment??

Hi,
I have gone through the details and the reports. You are having endometrial hyperplasia due to increased estrogen. There are medical and surgical treatment for this but considering your age I guess you have completed your family. If that is the case then I would suggest you go for hysterectomy (removal of uterus and cervix). Usually, we try the medical management for 9 months, if it does not resolve and is still persisting or progressing we advise surgery.
