Does a wart normally make surrounding area red? I have been worried about skin cancer- can you confirm this is not that? Thank you.

Do you have any, associated symptoms?like Itching? Pain?
Is it smooth or does it have a rough/bumpy feel of surface?and Is/was there any overlying scaling?
Is it soft/firm or hard to palpation?

No itching/ pain. Was overlying scaling which has now gone. Feels slightly rough. Soft-firm to touch.
