Question: My mom age 64... Blood pressure 130/80
In chest x ray it's mentioned as borderline cardimelogy and bronchovascular slightly accentuated
Is this anything serious

Hello

As per the information provided by you her blood pressure is alright and if she is not on any blood pressure medications already, she doesn’t require one.

A proper chest X-ray requires patient to hold his or her breath at a particular point which sometimes does happen especially with elderly. Due to this cardiac shadow appears enlarged.

If she has no symptoms then there is nothing to worry. Whenever possible just get a routine echocardiogram done for her to verify the structural and functional integrity of her heart.
