What Could Be A Yellow And Foul Smelling Discharge?

Question: 16 year old with a VERY foul vaginal odor, with a watery discharge that is yellowish. Also have an itch and sometimes burns when I pee. I amnot sexually active. I just finished my period and I wear pads, but don't change them very often. What could this be?

It seems like this is a very general problem with simple solution.

I suggest you to maintain good personal hygiene.

The vaginal discharge along with foul odour may be due to Vaginitis or Cervicitis that can be caused by fungal or bacterial infection.

It occurs commonly in women especially young girls.

Itching most commonly happens in fungal infections of the vagina.

Wear clean and dry cotton underwear, Wash the genital area frequently with antiseptics like Dettol. Keep the area dry always.

Drink plenty of fluids.

If your discharge does not subside, Visit a doctor and get examined.
