What Could Be Causing Intermittent Severe Itching In The Joint Areas?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: I have severe itching from time to time mainly in my joint areas, wrists, knees, lower legs?
Brief Answer:
Could be because of dryness or moist skin.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have read your question. In my opinion, this itching in joint areas can be due to
1. dryness of the skin
2. Accumulation of fluids likes sweat in warm conditions esp if you have a disease like diabetes.
3. Certain infective conditions - but may not be repetitive in nature.
I would suggest, you keep your skin dry and apply moisturizing lotion, as the condition may be in your case.
Thanx for the question.
