Question: Hi. I’ve recently noticed 2 freckles on the head of my penis and some discoloration of my skin. And now there is a tiny red one. My penis feels numb and I think that’s from cycling but I’m worried and the next appointment I can get with my urologist is in a month. I’m nervous, can you help?

The redness toned down. You can see the discoloration and freckles. The freckle on the right has been there for a very long time but the two spots closer to the top are new.

I have had unprotected oral sex.

Brief Answer:
Nothing to be worried about it

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for updating photographs which reveals discolouration of Glans penis at two places . This could be mostly due to mild bacterial infection following oral sex

Take antibiotics like Doxycycline twice daily for a week

Wash and clean your genital twice daily with warm water

Do not use any soap ,shampoo., cream or any ointments

It should get resolved within 2 weeks

Thanks as Regards

Thank you.

Can you prescribe it?

Also, should I expect this to show up on STD screening? I’m curious if there is a name or medical term for this.

I have tested negative in the past and have had these marks.

Thank you again.

Also, would I need to get a swab for this to come up as positive? I’ve never had a swab.

Brief Answer:
This can not be STD

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for follow up .
Since you do not have intra vaginal penetrative sex and there is no ulcerative lesion or discharge from lesion there is no possibility of STD.

Do not get worried and relax .

Doxicycline is avoidable over the counter . I can not prescribe the drug as I have not carried out clinical examination in person.
Thanks and Regards-
Dr Patil
