What Could Be Reason For Severe Itching Sensation In My Whole Body With Red Rashes On The Skin?

Question: I am having a severe itching sensation in my whole body with red rashes on the skin. Yesterday I noticed a mild swelling on the back of my palm.

Hello,

I have gone through your query and I understand your concern..

It may be due to Allergetic reaction..

Allergetic reaction can be caused due to insect bite, coming in contact with certain toxic plants or dust..also some types of food and medicines can be the cause for it.

I would suggest you to consult with a dermatologist to rule out the cause with detailed medical examination and investigations.

You can take Tab Allegra 120 BD after food to reduce allergy, and Tab Atarax 10 mg at night to relive the itching..locally you can apply hydrocortisone ointment for relief.

Allegra 120 & Atarax 10 mg, does these two tablets have any type of side effect as I am already taking calcium capsules for past 2 months.

Tab Allegra 120 and Atarax 10 may not cause any other kind of side effects while on Calcium suppliment.

But usually few side effects like nausea, drowsiness, constipation are noticed in some people..

Thank you doctor XXXXXXX Is this a proper course of medicine or should I stop it when itching is over. By now I took just Atarax 10 MG tablet and only one dose has some significant effect in itching in the whole body

Hello doctor XXXXXXX now the itching is gone, but I noticed swelling on the backside of both the palms. And skin, after swelling, is somewhat tight at the backside of both the palms. What is it? How to cure this?
