Question: Cervical Xrays show mastoids are quite asymmetrical. What could be the cause of this? Could a trauma/fall cause this?

Hi I am Dr Gopal Goel , Orthopedic Surgeon.
As I understand , Both Mastoids are quite similar. Trauma , if it is fracture mastoid , can cause asymmetry but you would have known about the injury.
If they have been reported as asymmetrical, probably it is due to tilt in the neck secondary to cervical pain.
