What Could Cause Breathlessness After Running The Track?
Question: My daughter has a hard time catching her breath after track. She’s not able to take a deep satisfying breath. It does go away within 30 min. This has never happened before and it does happen st other random times with no exertion.
Brief Answer:
Echocardiogram and ECG needs to be done.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. I would not consider the situation normal. It could be due to respiratory or cardiac cause although the latter seems more likely. The heart might not be able to pump adequate blood at times. A step by step evaluation is needed. You need to take her to a doctor. After a clinical evaluation your daughter needs to undergo an echocardiography and ECG at the earliest. Please arrange to get them done and upload the reports thereafter. I would guide you accordingly.
Let me know if I could help further.
