What Could Cause Brownish Vaginal Discharge Two Weeks Before The Periods Due Date After Taking Plan B?
Question: Hello, my boyfriend and I didn’t have sex but we think semen may have gotten in my vagina. To be safe we took plan B. I am not due to get my period for another 2 weeks. I noticed some brownish/ red coloring blood in my pee 24hrs after Plan B. Did the Plan B work and what are my next steps? We are very concerned that I could get pregnant. Should I be worried? Should I be worried about pregnancy?

We saw the semen on the leg, we are not sure that it went in, but as a precaution we took the pill. We don’t know if it dripped down. If you’re ovulating and then took the pill, is that ok? How do we know if the pill is working?

So currently the best thing to do is wait until next period. If the period comes a few days early is that normal after taking Plan B? If the blood does not stop in pee what is the recommended course of action? How long should we wait to see a doctor about the bleeding from taking plan B? There isn’t a large amount of blood, very minor. There’s no pain as well

The pill may cause minor self-limited bleeding inside your genital tract. The blood should come out of your vagina (like your menses).
