Question : At times when I bend over at a 45 degree angle, I feel like my internal organs are slipping up to my chest with cramping . if I take some deep breaths, it settles down. What is this all about?

A few possibilities may include - shifting of soft tissue or fatty tissue in the abdomen with the bending - more common in patients who are carrying extra weight or obese.

Another possibility would be a hernia in the abdomen which could create a sense of shifting of the abdominal organs with bending or movement.

A hiatal hernia could also potentially contribute to this sort of presentation.
