Brief Answer:
Perimenopausal hormonal imbalance

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

The usual age for women to attain is about 45 to 50 years of age. I suspect you are going through the phase of perimenopause which can last few months with disturbed periods, either they could be heavy or light, associated with clots. They can be irregular, short or too long. Sometimes there may be missed periods.

There may be a few other systemic symptoms like fatigue, giddiness, irritability, cold intolerance or hot flushes etc. Need not worry, the condition is transient and usually end with ending of the menstrual cycles and leaves one completely normal.

Hope, I answered your query. Wish you good health.

Regards
