What Could Cause Me To Meet With An Accident And Not Remember Blacking Out Or Falling Asleep?

Question: I was driving and hit a car. the only thing i can remember was i have hit something. didnt see car at all. hit second door on driver side. concerned that i might have fallen asleep or blacked out before. all i can remember when i hit car i said i have hit something. I had just looked up and saw green light and no cars

In my opinion, most likely you fell asleep before the accident, I don't see any reason for the blackout.

In most cases, when you black out, first you start to feel not normally, usually you remember some episodes before blacking out.

Vision disturbances immediately after the accident are most likely caused by concussion.
