Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern.
It looks that you have developed abdominal cramps following gastritis due to ibuprofen.
In my opinion, you should take a combination of Pantoprazole and Domperidone once daily along with Digene syrup.
Take soft and bland diet.
This is my personal opinion based on details available here. If you still have any other query, you may please ask me.
Stay Healthy.

Is it normal for the Ibuprofen to still affect me all through a whole week like that? I don’t usually take NSAIDs as I have read of their side-effects, last time was about three months ago
Brief Answer:
No it won't affect now
Detailed Answer:
No, it won't affect now. But if had caused gastritis, symptoms would persist. If no relief you get on the mentioned medicines, get your Ultrasound Abdomen.
Good Luck.

Thankyou for fast reply. I have been worried sick for days that I might have stomach cancer and cannot stop looking up symptoms online. I have blood work, fecal test and urine sample being done in a week and then an appt with my GP. Would those tests detect something related? Should I insist in visiting a GI specialist? How safe is it to wait? I am driving myself insane with anxiety
Brief Answer:
You can wait
Detailed Answer:
I don't doubt stomach cancer. I suppose you can wait till the tests are performed.
