Hi, thank you for your reply.
I have no history of dry skin, eczema, or asthma.
I am not taking any medications and no rash associated with the itching.
I get scabs from the itching. they will not heal. some I have had for a couple of years. they itch, on and off every day.
and I am not diabetic
is Cetrizine an over the counter medicine?

You seem to be having pruritus. Yes, you can take tablet Cetrizine twice daily and it is an over the counter drug.
Also, apply Cortisone cream on the affected areas twice daily along with frequent and liberal application of a moisturizing lotion containing white soft paraffin on the entire body 2-3 times in a day. This should help in relieving your problem.
