What Could Cause Protrusions In The Right Chest Bones For Over Three Years?

Unlikely to be Costochondritis
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Costochondirits is unlikely to last so long . It is self limiting . It usually presents with severe pain at costal cartilage junction with the rib which is just lateral to midline. As this episode is not associated with pain , its unlikely to be due to costochondritis. A breast self examination will be very reassuring to rule out underlying great lump as the cause of the asymmetry of the breast .
Underlying Vitamin D deficiency could also produce non painful swelling at costa chondral junction . DO send me clinical photograph for visual assessment and opinion regarding asymmetrical protrusion .
DO get back to me if you need any further assistance , will be glad to assist you

Lung tumor do not present in such way
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Bony protrusion is likely to be due to periosteal reaction which could sometimes be seen in Vitamin D deficiency . Lung tumor are not palpable and unlikely to present in such way . A normal breast self examination is very reassuring , also the fact that the lesion has stayed the same since 1 1/2 year is very reassuring . Its unlikely to be due to any significant lesion.
