What Could Cause Recurrent Small Fluid Blisters On The Face And Around The Mouth When Diagnosed With Sjogren's Syndrome?
Question: Recurring small fluid blisters on face around mouth. After bursting they leave a crusty scab. I have Sjogren's Syndrome.
Brief Answer:
Herpes infection, topical antibiotic, oral antiviral
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
According to your complaints it would be herpes infection.
I would recommend you for apply topical antibiotic like neosporin ointment on the affected area twice daily.
If the lesions are severe or causing any discomfort you need to take a course of antiviral medication like tablet aciclovir 400 mg thrice daily for 5 days.
Oral antivirals are prescription drugs and you need to see the doctor in person to get them.
