What Could Cause Recurrent Worsening Chills And Hope Flashes For Over A Year

Question: My husband has had chills for a year. They were mild but have gotten worse. He has had LUPRON INJECTIONS. A SERIES OF TWO. OCT 15(lasting three months) Oct 15(lasting three months) The side effect have not ended. The chills and sweats are going strong. He just doesn't see the light at the end of the tunnel no this is getting the best of him. Are chills a side effect?

First of all its sad to know that you have been suffering from health issue.

Mam Lupron gonadotrophin injections can cause chills and sweats but is rare. We need to examine him once if he has fever, nausea, vomiting, generalised body pains or any other symptoms which could be co-incidental viral fever rather than side effect of drug. Kindly give us history if he have it. If it's viral fever then it will subside with any antiviral antibiotics. Feel free to ask any questions. For now he can take paracetamol tablet if fever persist.
