What Could Cause, Sore Throat, Cough, Sneezing, Runny Nose And Stomach Discomfort?

I had my spleen removed October 2016. I was just at the oncologist this past Wednesday 6/13/18 and all my blood work came back fine. The day after I developed a sore throat , cough, that has now subsided however I am now getting cold symptoms sneezing runny nose. I have been taking 500mg of Amoxicillin for the past 4 days, I have some stomach discomfort. I do not have fever. Up until this point in time since my operation I've been doing fine. Should I go to the Emergency Room to get my blood tested to see if I've got an infection.
Thanks
you likely have a viral respiratory tract infection
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Based on what you have written, you have a viral infection, the common cold.
Stomach discomfort can occur with the cold, in some cases it is related to increased mucus production in the respiratory tract (some of it is swallowed and enters the stomach )
Some persons may have fever, joint or muscle pain, lethargy, indicating that they may have the flu.
A complete blood count may show an increase in your white cell count because you have a viral illness.
You can continue your antibiotics and cough/cold medication which would include a decongestant to help with the runny nose.. Fluids and rest would also be important
I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
