probably allergic rhinitis or a common cold
Detailed Answer:
Dear,
Thanks for contacting with your health concern and after reviewing your health query I'm of the following opinion:
1. Since symptoms are chronic ( 1 week ) thus have you taken an opinion of your primary care physician (common cold/ heart burn) or ENT Specialist? (asthma, post nasal drip)
2. Is there any seasonal allergy (hay fever) running around in your locality?
3. Is bulgum yellow or sticky??
4. As the problem is mainly in summer season so it could be the environmental factor(s): dehydration, perspiration, or due to some reasons as well.

1. As an eminent ENT specialist have arrived on a provisional diagnosis of GERD and advised accordingly, it becomes necessary for you to have a direct physical examination with an ENT Physician near your hometown or get a second opinion. [for any affection of sinuses ]
PS. going by your symptoms one has to exclude chronic Rhinosinusitis [as one of the cause]
2. Till you get a comprehensive physical examination and investigation(s), I will prescribe Dietary Regime and Medicine on the line of ‘jeerna pratishyaya’ [ जीर्ण प्रतिश्याय]
i. Avoid Heavy, slimy and acidic food, curd, mustard oil, excess physical exertion, sunlight-dust areas, exposure to strong winds, day sleeping, smoking, Potato, green leafy vegetables. Cold water/food
ii. Take old brown rice, soup of moong dal, black grapes, cow’s or goat milk, garlic, lukewarm water to drink, black pepper, dried ginger, honey, mulethi, launga.
iii. Take Raw ginger+ raw turmeric: [2 gm each] and fry in cow’s ghee [6 gm] and thereafter add 6 gm jaggery and take at bedtime [during the night]
iv. Successful prescription for you will be
i. XXXXXXX XXXXXXX ras+ shringa bhasma+ Shuddha man shila+ madhuyashti/ sitopladi churan: twice a day with cow’s ghee
ii. Chitrak haritki: at bedtime [20gm]
iii. Vyoshadi churan: after meals, two times.
iv. In Ayurveda, we hold that nose is the gateway to head, thus start practicing NASYA [errhine therapy], after consulting/guidance of an Ayurveda physician [with shadbindu tail]
v. As attacks are frequent take high protein diet: egg (white), soy milk, pumpkin, squash, watermelon, peanuts, almonds, if non-vegetarian (meat) are choices , legumes, sprouted pulses/cereals, milk with protein powder [since blockage of nose is an issue hence yogurt and beans are not recommended] and deep breathing exercises [anulom vilom]
