Brief Answer:
Change the antibiotic. Keep taking the "neuro" drugs.
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX,
1. I suggest that you change the antibiotic. Clavam is an antibiotic.
2. Sometimes germs develop resistance to antibiotics.
3. It was not necessary to discontinue Allegra. It can be restarted.
There is no drug interaction.
4. The leg pains are a different illness and have nothing to do with the cough and
cold.
5. I would suggest that the "Neuro" medicines be continued. As per the neurologists advice.
6. You need to do an antibiotic sensitivity test. Take the cough sputum to a laboratory. They will predict the right antibiotic.
Thanks,
