Brief Answer:
in the same drug family

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Edarbii is the family of medications called angiotensin 2 receptor antagonist. Benicar is in the same family of medications.

If you had similar effects with benicar then it is possible that the symptoms may be due to your new medication since it is in the same drug family

There are other causes for acute vomiting, diarrhea and cramping eg an infection of the GI tract/food poisoning. This is one of the more common causes.

Using the rice and broth is appropriate and you can continue.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
