What about Livalo and altace? I did ask about all my medication. XXXXXXX
Brief Answer:
None of these two is reported to cause weight gain
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Among the three drugs you mentioned, only Metoprolol showed evidence of causing weight gain in a rare subset of patients using it while with regard to the other two medications (Livalo and Altace), neither of them is reported to cause weight gain problem (which is why I didn't mention about them in my earlier reply).
However, I would recommend that you check on your thyroid hormonal profile including T3, T4, and TSH to exclude hypothyroidism as a possible cause of weight gain.
I sincerely hope you'll find this helpful.
