What Could Causes Body Pain, Chills, Cough, Head Pain And Sore Throat?

Question: I think I have the flu or either a really bad sinus infection. I am aching all over, got the chills really bad, can't quit coughing my head hurts bad my throat is really sore and when I blow my nose it is thick and yellow and I'm coughing constantly. I've been using over the counter meds but that doesn't seem to be working. I think I might need antibiotics. Thanks for your help. XXXXXXX XXXXXXX

Some advice that I can give to you are:
-Prescribed antibiotics are the first line of treatment. You should consult your doctor about this treatment.
-For the ache I suggest ibuprofen 400 mg 3 times a day
-For the nasal congestion I suggest nasal saline spray
-Take vitamin supplements to boost the immune system
-It is very important to drink liquids.
-Also try to use a humidifier at home to help you with the nasal congestion.
