Detailed Answer:
Hello,
As you explain the history if you were my patient i first order a chest X Ray and a Spirometry test for you. If possible, sputum can be sent for culture and sensitivity. Than I would decide about the correct treatment. For post nasal drip syndrome the ENT specialist should decide. Regarding the allergic rhinitis topic steroids may be sufficient. If the Spirometry test come positive for obstructive airways than steroids inhalers are needed such as Fluticasone twice for one month. The above are locally effective and don't have negative effects in glaucoma don't worry so much.
The lack of oxygen in the other hand is a serious situation but its not directly related to the mold. If you think that you have it you should be absolutely be examined by your doctor. Inhaling clean air is must to avoid lung infections.
However, please discuss with your doctor for all the above. I hope to have helped you. Feel free to ask me again.
Regards,
Dr. Jolanda
