What Do I Do When My Dentures Do Not Fit Me?

Question: I am 83 years old, recently I’ve had to have my teeth extracted and dentures . I am really having a hard time with this. The dentist has left his practice ,the dentures do not fit, I’ve had two scrapings on my bottom gums and some repair .Please help, as I do not know what to do next.
Brief Answer:
Relining or rebasing the denture can help.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Well if the denture is loose or it doesn't fit then in that case you need to see another Dentist or a specialist that is a Prosthodontist.
He/She shall check your Denture and if possible Relining or Rebasing the denture can help in improving the fit.
Before that you can once try using Denture adhesive that you can get from nearby Pharmacy.
For scrapings over the gums, there can be some sharp areas or elevation over the tissue surface of denture.
It should be smoothed and trimmed.
So again needs a check by a Dentist.
Please let me know for further questions.
Regards.
