Brief Answer:
Post infection neuropathy and TIA to consider.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for usingHCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Upper respiratory tract infections may be caused by viruses too, that, in the other hand may cause nerves dysfunction in form of polyneuropathies for example,so, post viral neuropathy should be taken in consideration.

Another condition to consider, especially if you notice other symptoms ( vision and speech issues etc.), is transient ischemic attack.

It is necessary to get evaluated by your primary care Doctor who can order further tests and consultations in order to get a correct diagnosis.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Kind regards.

Thank you. I've occasionally had respiratory infections in past years and this never happened. Why now?

Brief Answer:
It depends on the infection kind.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again.

It depends mainly in the kind of the virus and on immune system status, not all people who experienced respiratory tract infections develop neurological issues.

However, these issues need to be evaluated by your Doctor.

Take care.
