Brief Answer:
Thyroid

Detailed Answer:
May I know when you had the total thyroid removal surgery?

I am going to assume they found no cancer in it, because otherwise you would have told me so. Unless you had no follow up with the surgeon who would normally convey the results of the analysis of the thyroid gland (s)he removed.

The 'abnormal tissue' you are reporting in the neck and shoulder area.......is that in front of the neck or back? The thyroid area is located in the front central portion as you may know. So if we are considering this is thyroid related we need to understand what portion of the neck it is emerging from

I see.

You must be under the care of an endocrinologist/medical oncologist. A comprehensive management program is followed for individuals like you.

Examples include periodic Ultrasound of the neck with or without a Whole body radioactive Iodine scan, and blood tests like TSH, Free T4, quantitative thyroglobulin / anti thyroglobulin antibodies.

Please kindly do this at the earliest opportunity without delay
