What Do Bent, Swollen And Shaky Fingers Indicate After A Fall?
Question: This is my second request. I hope I don't have to do it again.
I've fallen a few times again, but am enrolled in a system that gets me help, so that's not the problem.I have had a purple index finger twice-one on my right hand, one on my left. There was no injury involved. This week my left index finger and my middle finger seemed to be attached, my third finger was completely separated from both, and my pinkie stuck out to the side at a strange angle. Both thumbs are completely useless (arthritis) and are very swollen at the base.My fingers are shaky and bent. Should I be doing something about this? I know I'm old and my complaints are minor.

Brief Answer:
Can be a spontaneous bleeding.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Purple coloration in the finger can be due to blood circulation problem or a spontaneous bruise. If this has happened without an injury then a bleeding disorder needs to be ruled out. The bent and swollen fingers are due to arthritis. Proper treatment and physiotherapy can help to some extent.
I hope this answers your query.
