What Do Black Spots On Upper Back Indicate?
Question: I have some black spots on my upper back & I suffer very severe itch.
Steroid cream may help for a while but there is no permanent cure. It has caused me
to be highly agitated and lose focus. In addition, my scalp becomes severely itchy too, and
this causes my mental confusion. Please help.

Hi,
As you said you have severe itchy maculopapular eruptions on back and severe itchiness on scalp. And you are disturbed by this disease. You applied steroid cream with little improvement. This is the history you gave. But, i would like to know more, so please answer few queries.
1) duration of the disease..from how many days you suffer from this disease?
2) any other skin disease you have at present or in past?
3) any other systemic disease like DM,heart disease,BP,abdomonal disease or else?
4) family history of any disease?
5) history of drugs you take?
6) bad habit like smoking or alcohol?
7) history of occupation or job or work you do?
8) any dermatologist you consulted and his treatment?
9) any psychological problem,tension?
10) cosmetic,soap,shampoo or deodorant..you use?
11) please describe the lesions.
Please answer above queries and post the photos of back area where you have lesions. So that I can help you in better ways..
