What Do Bleeding Gums Indicate As Per The Attached Reports?

Question: Hi
Please give me opinion on attached reports.
Please give me opinion on attached reports.
Brief Answer:
Appears to be a bleeding disorder
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I understand your concerns.
These reports, coupled with the bleeding gums, suggest a defect in blood coagulation, most likely deficiency of factor VIII or Von willebrand factor. I see that assays for these have been done but reports not available yet. These are usually congenital problems.
Once these are available, we can pinpoint the deficiency and then treat accordingly.
Hope this helps.

Added one additional report, can you please check
Brief Answer:
This appears to be factor VIII deficiency
Detailed Answer:
At least 25% of activity is required for its function, here it is 20%. Hence bleeding may occur. But unless it is less than 5%, serious bleeding is unlikely. We also need to look at VWF levels, as low VWF can also cause low factor VIII levels. Treatment will be different in these two conditions.
