What Do Bony Bumps On The Knuckles Indicate?
Question: Hi, i had really bad anxiety for quite a while. I am making amazing strides and very proud of myself in my recovery. During the time of extreme stress. I noticed i had developed bony bumps on my knuckles closest to the base of my finger. I was wondering what this is. I took blood and my RA panel came back negative. Thank you for your time. I know i ask a lot of questions but i would rather be safe then sorry.

Two months ago i noticed the bumps
Nothing has really changed since then as far as appearance of the bumps
They don’t hurt really ever, my joints crack a lot and they can become a little stiff when it’s cold but i feel like that’s normal
The bumps are bony not cystic; the bumps are mostly the same size like the size of a pea
I will try to attach a photo but they are hardly noticeable except for one near my index finger joint but even that isn’t that noticeable
