What Do Bumps Behind The Ears Indicate?

Question: have a short line of bumps that appeared Friday evening behind my ear. I tend to get foliculitus on my back sometimes and this appears to be similar. wore a hat to go walking during last week and wondering if this (from sweating) could have caused them. not painful, they feel weird sorta like the ones on my back. am using clindagel on them. anything else I can do and can you get foliculitus on your head?? and of course was just at dermatologist the day before!
Brief Answer:
Seems like acne lesions; continue with clindamycin
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us
I have gone through your query and I have also reviewed the Image.
This seems more like inflammatory acne lesions rather than folliculitis. Similar to those one can get on face Or back.
Yes, one can get acne lesions/ folliculitis lesions on head, neck, back, shoulders, chest, face etc as all these areas are rish in sebaceous glands.
Sweating, heat and humidity are factors that might have encouraged them to form.
I suggest you to continue clinagel, twice daily for a week and they should be fine.
Regards
