What Do Bumps Under Head Of Penis Indicate?
Question: I had bumps under the head of my penis that turned to scabs. I did have similar scabs on the base of my penis months ago but they went away and they mostly showed up after sweating a lot after the gym. I'm concerned it may be an std.

This started as bumps last Friday morning, I applied alcohol with not much burning. Then the scabs formed almost right away by saturday morning. It did itch, but tollerable, meaning I wasnt going crazy to itch it. I have apllied hydrogen poroxide after its been scabbed. I did have scabbs similar months back but they were on the shaft where ot meets my testies. The scabs in the past have never been this close to the head. And before the scabs were usually after excessive sweating.
Brief Answer:
Superficial infections
Detailed Answer:
Hi again
I have seen the attached picture.
I must say that the picture resolution is not that great but from what I could make out,the lesions look more like a superficial pyogenic infection to me .
I don't really suspect any std owing to the clinical appearance of the lesions.
I would suggest that you keep the affected area clean and dry .
Wash the affected area with lukewarm saline water twice daily.
Apply a topical antibiotic cream like neosporin or mupirocin over the lesion twice daily.
You might need a course of oral antibiotics if the lesion still tends to persist or increase.
Do not apply any other cream or oil over the affected area.
Hope it helps
