What Do Corpus Luteal Cysts In The Left Ovary Mean?
Question: Hello doctor, My sister has taken the pregnancy test using the home kit. It had a thick pink line so as per the urine test the pregnancy is positive. As per the dr advise, she has taken the scan today. Please find the attached scan report and let us know the details. Thanks in advance!
Brief Answer:
Normal report, repeat after 14 days
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The report shows early pregnancy of approximately 5 weeks.
The yolk sac and fetus will develop sequentially as the pregnancy advance, and hence a repeat scan is advised after 2 weeks.
Fetal pole and cardiac activity appears by the time gestational sac is around 25 mm size.
So, there is nothing to worry and a repeat scan is advised after 2 weeks to confirm the fetal viability.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
