What Do Cut Like Sores In Corner Of Eye And Mouth Suggest?
Question: I have tiny cutlike sores in corner of left eye and mouth. Crusting and oozing

It is important to know if these sores appeared at the same moment and if they are painful. If they did and in case you experienced some malaise or fever, it is possible that this should be a viral infection.
Treatment should involve mainly proper cleaning and use of topical antiseptic. At this stage,I am afraid antibiotics might not be very necessary. They can become necessary in case some pus has been noticedin any of these regions.
For now I suggest use of local oral anti s eptics and special eye A ntiseptics.
How has your feeding been lately within the past year? Deficiency is vitamin B complex and Vitamin C could cause oral and eye sores. In case At the level of the eyes you have new vision problems, vitamin A deficiency should be sought and managed. This is however rare but worth keeping in mind.
