What Do Extreme Itchiness On Body During Exercises?

may be cholinergic urticaria
Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic
There is a type of urticaria called cholinergic urticaria where hives/itching is provoked by heat, stress or exercise.
It is due ,as mentioned by your doctor, to a release of histamine and other chemicals in the blood that play a role in inflammation/allergies.
Treatment: (1)antihistamines as stated,
The antihistamine that he is using, zyrtec is one of the recommended meds.
They can be used at higher than normal dose, the European Academy of allergy and immunology actually state that can be used at up 4 times normal but this should only be done in conjunction of with your doctor
(2)blocking the histamine 2 receptors (H2) may also help. This is the reason that some persons with chronic urticaria also use meds such as pepcid, zantac, cimetidine
Adding one of these may help
(3)a medication called ketotifen has also had a 68% reduction in itching
(4)meds such as danazol and propanolol are also used in cholinergic urticaria
It may help to see an allergist for management.
I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
