What Do Fleshy Blood Clots In Urine Indicate?
Question: I have begun finding fleshy blood clots in my urine. Pain below my left rib cage, left lower quadrant abdomen, left flank, and lower back...mostly on the left.
I am on Bactrim since Thursday, Flowmax since Friday. I had an ultrasound on Friday with no results yet. Started peeing blood clots last night and continuing this morning.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have read your symptom description.
Are you on any blood thinning medications like warfarin? If not then we need to find the source of the bleeding , whether, kidney disease /tumor.
I would suggest you to get a few blood tests like a renal kidney function tests, complete blood count, coagulation profile b and Urine microscopy exam.
Hope this helps
Do get back invade you have further query's

I am not on any blood thinners. I do not have any fever. I have a constant level of dull pain (about a 7). When I urinate, that pain number increases significantly.
I suspected hematuria in July and submitted urine sample to my primary care doctor then. They did not say anything about the resultsat that time.
It has gotten progressively worse.
So I plan to return to my family doctor tomorrow for results on my renal/aorta/bladder ultrasound.
My question would be, is that a good plan? I began urinating black blood clots last night. Today, they are more red and fleshy. I'm trying to avoid the ER if possible.
I'm pretty tough and am taking no pain meds...but this stoicism is exhausting.
Thank you.
