What Do Hard Lumps On The Breasts Indicate?
Question: Hi,
My baby is 6 months, i have started solids as joined back to work. I can sense hard lumps on my breast. Is it sign of reducing milk. Is it a way of weaning? Or can this cause mastitis?

I dont have pain. Im feeding baby regularly. Is it better to examine with doctor?
Brief Answer:
Can be due to reduced feeding frequency.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
if there is no pain then the knots can be due to accumulated milk due to reduced feeding frequency. You can consult a gynecologist to confirm this.
