What Do Hematocrit Levels Of 51.3 High And Platelets Of 94000 Low Indicate?

Question: I recently had a complete blood count and my doctor acted like it wasn't much to worry about but I found it quite alarming. I'm getting another test done to make sure the readings were accurate.

My hematocrit 51.3 High
Platelets 94,000 Low
MPV 13.8 High

I also had a ANA screen that tested positive... could this be a sign if some underlying auto immune disorder or something? I'm only 24 years old, male.

Your platelets, MPV and hct is not alarming. But ANA screening test is positive so it should be investigated further.

You may have underlying autoimmune disease.
So go for complete ANA profile. That will give you exact idea. Then take treatment accordingly.
