Brief Answer:

Indicate mild stress on liver due to pregnancy.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I have seen all the attached reports. Your AST and ALT levels are slightly raised.

These are liver enzymes and a rise indicates stress on the liver which is reversible and is normally seen during pregnancy due to the extra stress caused by the baby.

The itching that you have can be related to this. You can reduce the fat intake and all spicy and fried foods to bring the levels of these enzymes to a lower level.

You can also get some hepatoprotective medicines prescribed form your gynecologist to help this problem. These enzyme levels will come back to normal after delivery. There is no need to worry.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
