What Do High ESR Levels And Presence Of Blood In Cough Indicate?

Brief Answer:
He should consult pulmunologist.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
Does he smoke?
Blood with cough can be a sign of lungs disease. If he smokes, first thing to be ruled out is lungs cancer. Tuberculosis or lungs infection should be also ruled out.
If he smokes, chest CT should be done at first. He definitely should consult pulmonologist.
Please note that if he coughs a lot, and there is only a small amount of blood in the sputum, it can come from throat as severe coughing causes minor injury.
Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.

he never smoked in his whole life. also cough is very less and may be once or twice a day or sometime in two days. any other test you suggest to take on. thanks
Brief Answer:
Chest x-ray can be done instead of CT.
Detailed Answer:
Than he may start with chest x-ray instead of CT. Pulmonologist should be still consulted. Tuberculosis should be ruled out. Sputum test can help in that. But pulmonologist should see him first.
