What Do Itching And Leakage Under The Head Of The Penis Indicate?

Question: I've had this leak under the head of my penis and it causes extreme itching. My dermatologist believes it is dermatitis. He ended up prescribing 4 different creams which have only given me temporary relief. Now he wants to do a biopsy to see what it really is. In the beginning I had red blotches on the head most of that has gone away now. Bothe me and the wife have herpes and an active sex life. Any ideas what this might be?
Brief Answer:
Could be due to dermatitis. Fungal cause likely.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. Your doctor is right about the ailment being dermatitis. It could have an allergic cause. I would insist you to apply Candid (clotrimazole) lotion topically. I hope that will help.
I doubt if herpes is the cause. But please be informed that once a person gets herpes, the virus remains dormant in the nerve endings for life.
Let me know if I could help further.

Yes, I have been using the cream you described above plus three others, they only help for 24 hours. If dermatitis what would else would there be to put an end to it?
Brief Answer:
A course of oral antifungal should help
Detailed Answer:
The fact that this medicine provides at least transient relief indicates the likelihood of a fungal infection. In such a case I would insist you to ask your doctor for a course of oral antifungal like flucanozole. I hope that could improve the situation. An allergic component is also likely to be associated and I would insist on asking your doctor to prescribe Montair LC tablet (monteleukast + levocetirizine) once daily for at least 10 days. I am certain that would help.
