What Do Liquid Filled Bumps On The Penis Indicate?
Question: Hi I got like a few little clear liquid filled bumps on shaft of penis. I've been with same women for 2 years we just had a baby and she got pap smear and she was cleared and had no STDs and it seems I only get these once every couple of months normally after sex they last a few days and go away. They have only appeared in the last 6 months. Since I've gotten them the GF has had the pap smear and results were good?
Brief Answer:
Could be as a result of a friction during the sexual intercourse.

Hello! I have been through your question.
Related your concern and based on your history I think that these clear liquid filled bumps could be as a result of a friction during the sexual intercourse.
Furthermore to be more confident to say that you are free from HSV 2 you need to do a test HSV 2 IgG just as a precaution.
I hope my answer helps you.

Detailed Answer:
Hello! Thank you writing back in healthcaremagic.
You should know that rough sex or masturbation is one of the many causes for penile blisters.
Lack of lubrication(friction) during vigorous sex or masturbation can cause soreness in the penis that can further lead to blisters on the shaft of penis (as you have)and also on penis head.
Avoiding the cause or adequate use of lubrication during the act can prevent from getting blisters. These blisters heal on its own in most cases, so no treatment is necessary.
Furthermore it is known that HSV 2 and primary syphilis can cause penis blisters but in your case I think are excluded.
I hope my answer helps you.
Feel free to ask me further.
Regards.
